Science Wizards

Spring 2025
Dear Families,
In our Science Wizards class, students dive into an exciting world of learning through interactive activities and creative projects. Each week begins with a fun dance warm-up to energize the group, followed by a circle time where students share their names and a cool thing they did that day, often accompanied by a playful body movement.
Our recent unit on planets has been a highlight, where students engaged in trivia games and demonstrated their knowledge by creating their planet drawings, showcasing their enthusiasm and creativity. We also explore scientific concepts through hands-on experiments, like making potions with everyday household items.
The atmosphere is filled with excitement as we incorporate games, such as “Night at the Museum” played with a wizard twist, and scavenger hunts where students search for magical objects or planets. The camaraderie among the students is a happy one, creating a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and learning, making it clear that everyone is having fun while developing their scientific skills.
Best,
Vasthy, Curated Care teacher
