Dear Families, 

Our Dino Explorers class at The Montessori Schools: SoHo focuses on introducing basic facts about dinosaurs and archeology while also giving students the opportunity to explore creativity through hands-on art projects.

Drawing inspiration from "My First Book of Dinosaurs" by Erin Waters, students get the opportunity to learn about every kind of dinosaur and what they were like (i.e. what they ate, where they lived, etc.) Some crafts we've done so far include: dinosaur fossil necklaces, triceratops masks, dinosaur enclosures, breaking down dinosaur eggs, and painting our own dinosaur claws.

Moving forward we will begin to learn more about flying dinosaurs and water dinosaurs to explore the diversity of the dinosaurs and their way of life!
