Dear Families,

For the past few weeks our mighty astronomers have been on a quest around the universe! We first started off by putting together the tools for our observations, making custom telescopes that we can use to see our milky way galaxy. 

Now that we have the proper tool for the job, we explored every planet starting from closest to the sun to furthest, analyzing the distinct features of each and why there presumably isn’t life on that planet. This brought up a fun back and forth of which planet is everyone’s favorite and if habitable, where everyone would live besides Earth.

The second half of this semester we will be more star and meteor focused. Analyzing how they affect our galaxy and even more specifically our everyday lives!
