Dino Explorers
Rodeph Sholom School
Winter 2025
Dear Families,
We have been having a roaring great time in Dino Explorers filled with imaginative play, crafts, science experiments, games and more! Each week is themed, allowing students to learn about different types of dinosaurs when they existed, as well as how we study dinosaurs now.
You can ask any of the little dino experts their favorite activity and they will tell you it was making a volcano during Extinction Week. Not only did they have a blast creating the explosion with water, soap, baking soda and vinegar, but it was fun to feel the foamy “lava” and smell the soap, engaging multiple senses and imagining what the dinosaurs might have encountered.
I’m so excited to see how the dino explorers blossom in the upcoming weeks with themes like bones, habitats, and diets!
Best,
Michelle Guiot, Curated Care teacher
