Dear Families,

Our Knitting 101 class has been tackling fiber projects of all sorts, including crocheting, weaving, and of course, knitting!

We started simple with finger knitting, and once they mastered the basics the kids have moved on to picking up tools like crochet hooks, knitting needles, or a cardboard loom. So far students have been able to make bracelets, pompoms, bows, woven decor, and scarves-in-progress!

Hopefully by the end of the class, each kid gets to make a few things they are proud of, and get to take home their own crafts and some brand new skills they can keep using forever!
