Dear Families,

Our Science Wizards are spending this semester testing various chemical reactions! At the beginning of each class, we get geared up in our safety goggles, and gather our materials to stay safe and stay as clean as possible! We then jump right into a guided experiment, followed by some time for them to try different mini experiments that they thought of during the guided ones! As I’ve told the girls our first week, science is all about testing and discovering new things!

Following our first class, and asking the girls what kinds of science experiments they want to try, we’ve been building on their ideas and interests! I truly believe the best way to foster a child’s interest in any STEM field is to meet them at their interests and build on them!

We’re all excited to continue our science experiments and I’m looking forward to continuing to watch the girls’ interest in science grow!
